  NEKK celebrated Ugadi Habba on a grand scale on Saturday, Apr 17th, 2010 at Keefe Technical School, 750 Winter Street, Framingham, MA - 01702 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Ugadi program was attended by over 210 Koota members and 60 children. Two dramas, 'Heegadre Hege' and 'Ratnan Prapancha' were performed by noted drama troupe from Bangalore, lead and directed by smt. Lakshmi Chandrashekar.

NEKK celebrated Sri. Purandara Dasa Day on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Sri. Lakshmi Temple, 117 Waverly Street, Ashland, MA - 01721 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The program was attended by over 12o members and ober 60 members participated in reciting Purandara Dasa keertahnas.
 
  NEKK celebrated Children's Day, Deepavali and Kannada Rajyothsava on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Keefe Technical School, 750 Winter Street, Framingham, MA - 01702 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
NEKK Children's Day, Deepavali and Kannada Rajypotsava was attended by over 160 adults and over 80 children. The program was a grand success and provided an opportunity for community children to showcase their talents. Please check the photos from the program in the photo section.
 
  NEKK Screened Super Hit Kannada movie Venkata in Sankata on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Studio Cinema, Belmont, MA at 2:00 PM
Super hit Kannada movie Venkata in Sankata was well attended and everyone laughed all through the movie.
 
  NEKK celebrated Sri. Ganesha festival on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Keefe Technical School, 750 Winter Street, Framingham, MA
Lord Sri Ganesha Pooja was performed with religious fervor and deity on the occasion by Dr.Shankar Narayana. Programs: On this occasion were solo dance drama "RUKMINISHA VIJAYA" by Vidushi BHRAMARI SHIVAPRAKASH, light hearted comedy drama "Korriyappanna choreography" directed by Madhusudhan Akkihebbal and enjoyable classical Bharathanatyam and traditional folk dances choreographed by Poornima Risbud. Nearly 150 members attended and enjoyed the evening.
