Lord Sri Ganesha Pooja was performed with religious fervor and deity on the occasion by Dr.Shankar Narayana.
Programs: On this occasion were solo dance drama "RUKMINISHA VIJAYA" by Vidushi BHRAMARI SHIVAPRAKASH, light hearted comedy
drama "Korriyappanna choreography" directed by Madhusudhan Akkihebbal and enjoyable classical Bharathanatyam and traditional folk dances
choreographed by Poornima Risbud. Nearly 150 members attended and enjoyed the evening.

England Kannada Koota

New England Kannada Koota is one of the oldest Kannada Kootas in the United States.
NEKK was started in 1973 by a group of people hailing from Karnataka and living
in the New England area. NEKK celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1998.
